We had a hoppin' good time at our "Bunny Hop" Swing Dance. Impromptu conga line and Bunny Ears made it a fun evening for all. Our next dance is our bi-annual Country Dance on May 17th. Tonight's theme is "Blue Jeans & Diamonds." Explore your inner "Rhinestone Cowboy" and add some glitz to your jeans and/or western wear. Butch brings us Country music to which any one can dance to. There will be some standard ballroom music mixed in, as well, so don't be shy, come on over and give country a try. Then it's our June Birthday dance on June 7th.
Mark your calendars now so you can be sure to join us as we celebrate our 25th year of dancing together at our "Silver Anniversary Ball" on June 21st. Black & White is the theme for attire this evening. We will be having a Goodies table too. You are invited to bring a contribution for the table, but it is not necessary to do so to attend. As a special thank you to those members who have supported us all these years, we are granting free admission to all Spirit of Citrus members. It's sure to be a special evening so hope you can attend.
What a great time we had at our Leprechaun Ball. Many dancers got in the St. Patty "Spirit" by wearing 'o the green. Besides a fun night of dancing, we were also treated to a medley of Irish tunes sung by our very own Doug T. We had a delightful and tasty evening at our "Lady in Red" Dessert Dance. We were even treated to a fantastic Hustle routine by our DJ Tim Allen and his student Debbie. Scroll down to see photos of this special event, as well as, others we enjoyed.
